Roles and Permissions
Different team members need different levels of access. Roles control what each person can see and do.

Owner Role
Full access to everything.
Owners can:
- Access all features
- Manage billing and subscription
- Invite and remove any team member
- Change business settings
- Delete the business account
Best for: Business owners, partners with full responsibility
Note: Every business needs at least one owner. You can have multiple owners.
Manager Role
Day-to-day operational access.
Managers can:
- Edit menus, website, events, jobs
- Create and manage QR codes
- View and manage contact submissions
- View analytics
- Update location details
Managers cannot:
- Access billing
- Remove owners or other managers
- Delete the business
Best for: General managers, marketing leads, trusted employees
Staff Role
Limited view-only access.
Staff can:
- View menus and content
- See basic dashboard info
- Access limited features
Staff cannot:
- Make changes to content
- Access sensitive settings
- View detailed analytics
Best for: Employees who need visibility, new hires during training
Changing Someone's Role
- Go to Settings > Team
- Find the team member
- Click to edit their profile
- Select a new role
- Save
Changes take effect immediately.
Multiple Owners
You can have multiple owners. This is useful for:
- Business partners
- Multiple operators
- Backup access
Each owner has equal permissions.

Can I create custom roles?
Not currently—use the three built-in roles.
Can someone have different roles at different locations?
Roles apply to the whole business. For location-specific control, consider separate team members.
What if I need to limit access more specifically?
Start with the Staff role for minimal access. Contact support if you have specific needs.
