Menu Availability & Scheduling

Show different menus at different times—breakfast in the morning, dinner at night, brunch on weekends. Scheduling handles it automatically.

How Scheduling Works

You set availability windows for each menu:

• Days: Which days of the week
• Times: Start and end times

Outside these windows, the menu hides automatically. No manual switching needed.

Setting Up a Schedule

1. Go to Menus and select your menu
2. Click Settings or the gear icon
3. Find Availability
4. Set the schedule:
   • Choose days (Mon, Tue, etc.)
   • Set start and end times
5. Save

Example Schedules

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Always Available

If a menu has no schedule set, it's visible all the time. Good for:

• Your main menu
• Drinks/beverages
• Desserts

Overlapping Menus

Multiple menus can be visible at the same time. During lunch, customers might see:

• Main Menu (always available)
• Lunch Specials (11am-4pm only)
• Drinks Menu (always available)

Timezone

Schedules use your location's timezone. Make sure your location settings are correct so menus appear at the right times.

Manual Override

Need to show or hide a menu outside its schedule?

• Show anyway: Use the visibility toggle to force it on
• Hide anyway: Toggle visibility off

Manual overrides take precedence over schedules.

Seasonal Menus

For seasonal items (summer specials, holiday menu):

1. Create the menu with items
2. Set no schedule (or a wide one)
3. Toggle visibility on when the season starts
4. Toggle off when it ends

Or set specific date ranges if you know them.

Common Questions

My scheduled menu isn't showing. What's wrong?

Check:

• Current time is within the schedule
• Timezone settings are correct
• Menu visibility isn't manually toggled off
• Menu is assigned to the location

Can I schedule individual items instead of whole menus?

Scheduling applies to entire menus. For item-level control, use visibility toggles on individual items.

What happens at the boundary time?

Menus switch right at the scheduled time. If lunch ends at 4pm, the lunch menu disappears at 4:00pm exactly.
