Creating Your Welcome Card

Your Welcome Card pulls information from your business profile, so most of it is ready to go. Here's how to customize it.

Accessing Your Welcome Card

  1. Go to Welcome Card from your dashboard
  2. See a preview of your current card
  3. Click Edit to customize

What's Included Automatically

Your card pulls from your existing Welcome data:

  • Business name (from profile)
  • Logo (from profile)
  • Address (from location)
  • Hours (from location)
  • Phone (from location)
  • Website URL (your Welcome site)

If this info is correct in your settings, your card is mostly done!

Customizing Your Card

Colors

Match your brand:

  1. Click Colors or Design
  2. Choose a primary color (header, buttons)
  3. Select text and background colors
  4. Preview changes in real-time

Layout

Adjust what appears and in what order:

  • Toggle sections on/off
  • Reorder sections
  • Choose what to emphasize

Add your social media profiles:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter/X
  • TikTok
  • Yelp

Links appear as icons customers can tap.

Call-to-Action Button

Customize your main button:

  • "View Menu"
  • "Call Now"
  • "Get Directions"
  • Custom text and link

Previewing Your Card

Click Preview to see how your card looks:

  • Desktop view
  • Mobile view (most common)

Test links to make sure everything works.

Saving Changes

Click Save when you're happy. Changes go live immediately—your Welcome Card URL stays the same.

Your card lives at a URL like: card.welcomehq.app/your-restaurant

This URL never changes, so share it anywhere.

  • Use a clear logo: It's front and center
  • Double-check hours: Nothing worse than outdated hours
  • Add social links: Customers want to follow you
  • Choose readable colors: Contrast matters
  • Test on mobile: That's where most people view it

Can I have multiple Welcome Cards?

Each location can have its own card. Switch locations to access different cards.

Do I need to republish after changes?

No—changes save and go live immediately.

Can I use a custom URL?

The Welcome Card URL is fixed, but you can create a QR code or short link to share it.
