Control how your website works with these global settings.

Accessing Settings

  1. Go to Website > Settings
  2. Adjust settings as needed
  3. Save changes
  4. Publish to apply

General Settings

Site Name

Your business name as it appears in browser tabs and search results.

Tagline

A short description (appears in search results and some themes).

Site Icon (Favicon)

The small icon in browser tabs. Upload a square image (at least 32x32 pixels).

SEO Settings

Help search engines find and display your site.

Meta Title

The title that appears in Google search results. Keep it under 60 characters.

Example: "Joe's Pizza - Authentic New York Style Pizza in Austin"

Meta Description

The summary below your title in search results. Keep it under 160 characters.

Example: "Family-owned pizzeria serving hand-tossed New York style pizza since 1985. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery in downtown Austin."

Social Sharing Image

The image shown when your site is shared on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Recommended size: 1200x630 pixels.

Contact Information

Business Email

Displayed on your site and receives contact form submissions.

Phone Number

Shown on your contact page and in some themes' headers.

Address

Your physical location. Powers the map on your contact page.

Add your social profiles:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter/X
  • TikTok
  • Yelp
  • And more

These appear as icons in your website footer.

Analytics

Welcome Analytics

Built-in—tracks page views and visitor information automatically.

Google Analytics

Connect your Google Analytics account:

  1. Get your GA4 Measurement ID (starts with G-)
  2. Enter it in the Google Analytics field
  3. Save and publish

Advanced Settings

Custom Code

Add custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript if needed. Use carefully—bad code can break your site.

Redirect Rules

Set up URL redirects if you've changed page URLs.

Do I need to set up Google Analytics?

It's optional. Welcome provides built-in analytics. Google Analytics is for advanced tracking needs.

What's the best meta description?

Include:

  • What you offer
  • Where you're located
  • What makes you special
  • A reason to click

Can I have different settings per location?

Some settings apply globally, others per-location. Check individual setting descriptions.
