Managing Website Pages
Your website is made up of pages—Home, Menu, Contact, About, and any others you create. Here's how to manage them.
Default Pages
Every website starts with these pages:
- Home: Your main landing page
- Menu: Displays your menu (auto-generated from menu data)
- Contact: Your address, hours, and contact form
You can add more pages, rename them, or hide ones you don't need.
Adding a New Page
- Go to Website > Pages
- Click Add Page
- Enter a page name (e.g., "About Us", "Catering", "Private Events")
- Choose a template or start blank
- Click Create

Your new page appears in the list. Click to edit it.
Editing a Page
- Go to Website > Pages
- Click the page you want to edit
- Make changes using the visual builder
- Click Save
Changes save as a draft until you publish.
Page Settings
Click the settings icon on any page to configure:
- Page title: What shows in the browser tab and search results
- URL slug: The page address (e.g.,
/about,/catering) - Meta description: Summary for search engines
- Visibility: Published, draft, or hidden
Navigation Menu
Pages automatically appear in your website navigation. To control this:
- Go to Website > Navigation
- Drag pages to reorder
- Toggle visibility to hide pages from the menu
- Add external links if needed
Hidden pages still exist—they just don't appear in the navigation.
Deleting a Page
- Open the page settings
- Click Delete Page
- Confirm deletion
Warning: Deleting a page removes it permanently. Links to that page will break.
Page Types
Content Pages
Custom pages you build with the visual builder. Use for About, Gallery, Catering info, etc.
System Pages
Generated automatically:
- Menu page: Shows your menus
- Contact page: Shows location and contact form
- Jobs page: Lists open positions (if you have any)
- Events page: Shows your events (if you have any)
System pages pull data from other parts of Welcome. You can customize their layout but not delete them.
Common Questions
Can I duplicate a page?
Not directly. Create a new page and copy-paste sections from the existing one.
How do I change the homepage?
The first page in your navigation order becomes the homepage. Drag it to the top.
My new page doesn't show on my website. Why?
Check that:
- The page is published (not draft)
- It's visible in navigation settings
- You've published your website changes
