Your QR code is ready instantly.

Naming Your Codes

Good names help you track which codes perform best:

| Good Name | Why | |-----------|-----| | "Table Tent - Menu" | Tells you where it's placed and what it links to | | "Window Poster - Instagram" | Clear location and destination | | "Receipt - Review Request" | You know exactly what this is |

Avoid vague names like "QR Code 1" or "Test".

Internal Destinations

Link to any page on your Welcome website:

  • Homepage
  • Menu
  • Contact
  • Events
  • Jobs
  • Any custom page

Select from a dropdown—no URL typing needed.

Tip: If you rename or move a page, internal QR codes automatically update. No reprinting!

External Destinations

Link to any URL:

  • Google Maps directions
  • Instagram profile
  • Yelp or Google reviews
  • Facebook page
  • Online ordering (if you use a third-party)
  • Anything with a URL

Enter the full URL including https://.

Creating Multiple Codes

Need several QR codes for different locations or purposes? Create them one at a time, giving each a descriptive name.

Example setup for a restaurant:

  • "Dine-In Table - Menu"
  • "Front Window - Website"
  • "Bar Area - Happy Hour"
  • "Receipt - Leave a Review"

After Creating

Once created:

  1. Download the QR code
  2. Print at the size you need
  3. Place it where customers will scan
  4. Monitor scans in analytics

Common Questions

Can I change where a QR code points after printing?

Internal codes: Yes—if you reorganize your website, codes update automatically.

External codes: No—you'd need to create a new code with the new URL.

How many QR codes can I create?

Create as many as you need. There's no limit.

Can I delete a QR code?

Yes. Deleted codes stop working immediately. Anyone who scans a deleted code sees an error.
