Setting Operating Hours

Let customers know when you're open. Operating hours appear on your website and help set expectations.

Setting Hours

1. Go to Settings > Locations
2. Click on a location
3. Find Operating Hours or Hours
4. Set hours for each day
5. Save

Hour Format

For each day, set:

• Open time: When you start serving
• Close time: When you stop

Or mark the day as Closed if you don't operate that day.

Example Schedule

Split Hours

For restaurants that close between lunch and dinner:

• Set morning hours (11am - 2pm)
• Set evening hours (5pm - 10pm)

Both periods display for that day.

Special Hours

Holiday Hours

For holidays or special closures:

1. Go to location settings
2. Find Special Hours or Holiday Hours
3. Add the date and modified hours
4. Save

Example: "Closed Thanksgiving Day" or "Open 11am-3pm on Christmas Eve"

Temporary Changes

If hours change temporarily, update the regular hours and change them back when normal operations resume.

How Hours Display

On your website, customers see:

• Today's hours prominently
• Full weekly schedule
• Special hours/closures when applicable
• "Open Now" or "Closed" indicator

Multiple Locations

Each location has its own hours. Set them independently:

• Downtown: 7am - 10pm
• Airport: 5am - 8pm
• Mall: 10am - 9pm

Keeping Hours Updated

Accurate hours build trust. Update your hours when:

• You change operating times
• Seasonal hours shift
• Holidays approach
• Unexpected closures occur

Outdated hours frustrate customers who show up to locked doors.

Common Questions

Do hours affect menu scheduling?

They're separate. Menu scheduling (when breakfast vs. dinner shows) is independent of location hours.

What timezone are hours displayed in?

The location's timezone. Make sure it's set correctly in location settings.

Can I show "Kitchen closes at 9:30pm" if we close at 10pm?

Add this as a note in your location description or as a special notice—the hours field shows open/close times.
